Calamagrostis brachytricha is an ornamental new Korean feather reed grass. It is much adored for its large feathery plumes, that will appear from July until October. Boasting a clump forming habit of fresh green foliage, you can really count on this hardy perennial to deliver on texture, movement and drama wherever placed. Ideal for planting within cottage and low maintenance gardening schemes, be sure to keep positioned in partial shade, where it will progress to a height of 1.2m, along with a spread of 60cm. Calamagrostis brachytricha is an exceptional grass which bears extremely showy flower heads. Plant Calamagrostis into moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Plants will be tolerate of many different types of soils, apart from very poor soils.
