‘Mo Run Jue Lun’ is a beautiful Tree Peony that produces lavish, double layered blooms in a shade of crimson red from early Spring until early Autumn. Each flower features a striking golden centre, that not only contrasts perfectly against its petals, but also its fresh green foliage and spreading form. It is ideal for planting in a pretty patio container, border or scented gardening scheme, its enticing blooms attract lots of pollinating insects and emit a delicious aroma, that would work well adding fragrance to the air of an outdoor seating area. Position in full sun and watch it thrive to a height and spread of 150cm. It will add an essence of romance and luxury to your outdoor space this season. Grow tree peonies in full sun or a lightly shaded position that is sheltered from cold winds. They prefer a well drained, humus-rich, fertile, neutral to alkaline soil. They will grow in most soils, except waterlogged and acidic soils, provided they are improved on planting. This is best achieved by adding plenty of well rotted manure or compost to the soil prior to planting, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Plant tree peonies so that the grafted union sits about 15cm (6″) below the soil surface. Shallow planting may hinder establishment and delay flowering.
