‘Dark Secret’ is a wonderful Heuchera, that is much loved for its ruffled leaflets, of maroon-black foliage. Forming in bushy clumps, you can count on this hardy perennial to provide texture and vibrancy to dull landscapes. A great addition to borders, cottage and wildlife gardens, enjoy its delicate white blooms from June until September. Happy to progress in semi shade, watch it thrive to a height of 25cm, along with a spread of 30cm. A sultry Heuchera boasting deep purple to black foliage with heavily ruffled edges and a silvery sheen. Heuchera plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to waterlogging. Plant them in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun or semi shade.
