‘Rosenteppich’ is a striking Sedum, that is ready to bloom from July until September. It produces masses of bright pink, star-shaped flowers, that smother a rounded habit of fleshy, green-blue foliage. A superb addition to any sized garden, thoroughly loved by pollinating insects and ideal for creating attractive ground cover. Be sure to keep angled in direct sunlight and watch it develop to a height of 10cm, along with a spread of 30cm. This low, spreading hardy perennial is perfect for alpine troughs, creeping through rockeries, and dangling over low walls. Small, fleshy, green-blue foliage forms a dense mat of ground cover that is topped by panicles of rosy pink, starry flowers in late summer. Grow sedum in a sunny position in fertile, well drained, non acidic soil that has been enriched with well rotted manure or garden compost.
