‘Prinz Heinrich’ is a gorgeous Anemone, that is ready to flower from July until October. It produces an abundance of magenta pink, semi double blooms, that each feature a prominent glowing yellow centre. Cloaking a clump forming habit of deep green foliage, you can count on this hardy perennial to provide your outdoor space with vibrancy, texture and drama! Happy to grow in dappled shade, be sure to incorporate into cottage and wildlife themed gardening schemes. It will develop in height to 75cm and will spread to around 60cm. There are few flowers more stunning than the deep pink, semi-double blooms of the Chinese Anemone when they appear in July, August and September. The colour of the rolled petals fades to a pretty, pale pink as the season progresses, providing the perfect counterpart to the hardy perennial’s dark green leaves. Bees and butterflies agree, for pollinators are attracted to the plant’s sweet nectar. The spreading, clumping foliage provides excellent ground cover in sunny borders, making the Anemone hupehensis var. japonica ‘Prinz Heinrich’ a useful, as well as beautiful, addition to any garden. Height: 75cm (2’6″); Spread: 60cm (2’0″). Plant your Anemone plants out on moist, fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Plants are generally unfussy and, once established, will last for years, although try to avoid excessive winter wet.
