‘Mars Midget’ is a superb hardy perennial that will take centre stage in any sized gardening scheme. From July until November, you will witness an abundance of burgundy, pincushion flowers that sit above a circular mound of foliage, perched upon airy stems. Great for adding to wildlife, cut flower and cottage gardens, your Knautia will happily attract a range of pollinating insects all Summer long. Plant in full sun and watch it thrive to a height and spread of 45cm. Grow Knautia in borders in full sun. Field scabious prefers a well-drained, alkaline or neutral soil and is particularly suitable for chalky garden soils.
