‘Milano’ is a wonderful new Astrantia, that is ready to bloom from June until September. It generates bundles of spherical, bright pink flowers, that top a clump forming habit of fresh green foliage. Eye-catching and much loved by pollinating insects, be sure to incorporate into wildlife, cottage and cut flower gardening schemes. Happy to progress in semi shade, watch it thrive to a height of 50cm, along with a spread of 45cm. Plant in fertile, moist, well drained soil, in full sun or semi shade. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting, and water plants well until established.
