This beautiful Aquilegia blooms from May until July and generates bundles of bicoloured purple and blue flowers. Much loved for its compact growing form, its stunning mound of fresh green lobed foliage contrasts perfectly and works well in confined spaces. It enjoys dappled shade to progress and is ideal for adding to borders, cottage, alpine and woodland gardening schemes. It will grow in height and spread to around 20-30cm Grow aquilegias in sun or part shade in any fertile, moist, well drained soil.
