‘Tropical Sheer Heaven’ is a variety of Dahlia, that flowers from July until November. It boasts a superb mix of lemon, baby pink and salmon blooms, that cloak a bushy mound of deep green foliage. Ideal for growing in a cut flower, cottage or exotic themed garden, be sure to incorporate into lifeless borders also, for a bold impactful display. Position in direct sunlight and watch it progress in height to 120cm, along with a spread of 60cm. Dahlia ‘Tropical Sheer Heaven’ comes in a dreamy combination of salmon, pale yellow and pink with each flower varying slightly in colour to create a perfectly harmonious blend. Plant Dahlia tubers outdoors in April after all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny position in moist well drained soil. Prepare the soil by digging in plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Plant tubers at a depth of 15cm (6″) and water well. Alternatively, start tubers into growth in pots of compost in a frost free greenhouse. Transplant them into their final positions outdoors in June.
