It’s easy to see why these slender pods won an RHS Garden of Merit award. Safari produces straight, very slender round dark green stringless pods about 11-12cm (4½-5″) in length.
They only need a brief cooking time and are best steamed and served whole. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Much like the fine beans that grace supermarket shelves, you can enjoy a supply of Safari straight from your own garden. Harvest mid June-mid October. Height 40-50cm (16-20″); spread 40-50cm (16-20″).
