‘Amazing Parrot’ is a superb new Tulipa, that is ready to bloom from April until June. It generates an abundance of pink and orange flowers, that are each elegantly feathered. They top a clump forming habit of fresh green foliage and are ideal for planting within borders, cut flower and tropical gardening schemes. Happy to progress in partial shade, watch it flourish to a height of 50cm, along with a spread of 15cm. A flamboyant parrot tulip with feathered petals in orange, gold and rose pink. Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm (6″) and at a distance of 13cm (5″) apart.
