Philadelphus coronarius ‘Aureus’ brings light and colour to shrubby borders, as this hardy, deciduous shrub produces gold-yellow-green foliage and fragrant creamy white blooms. Requires little maintenance to get great results, as well as being easy to grow, this vibrant Philadelphus shines in autumn with its remarkable colouring and masses of flowers. Ideal as a border addition or stand-alone plant. Height: 250cm (98″). Spread: 150cm (59″). Grow Philadelphus plants in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Mock Orange plants at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
