‘Misty Butterflies’ is a stunning new Scabiosa, that is ready to bloom from June until September. It generates an abundance of spherical, lilac flowers, that elegantly top a dwarf growing habit of deep green leaflets. A magnet for pollinating insects and a cheery addition to any landscape, be sure to incorporate into cottage, wildlife and low maintenance gardening schemes. Happy to develop in direct sunlight, watch it thrive to a height of 25cm, along with a spread of 20cm. This dwarf form of scabiosa forms a low, tufted mound which is perfect for rockeries and gravel gardens as well as border edges. Grow Scabious plants in a sunny position on fertile, well drained, neutral to alkaline soil that is not excessively wet in winter.
