They form in flat, large clusters and elegantly decorate a slow growing, climbing habit of fresh green foliage. Perfect for planting in a patio pot or cottage garden, where it can sprawl along an obelisk, fence or trellis to create a bold focal point. It will remain happy in semi shade and will progress in height to 6m, along with a spread of 3m. A hardy, deciduous, climbing shrub, for a sunny or part shaded position. Schizophragma hydrangeoides is commonly known as the Climbing Hydrangea for its Hydrangea-like, creamy-white, lace cap flowers which are borne in flat topped clusters during June and July.
