Yucca elephantipes is easily recognized by its thick, woody trunk and striking, upright rosette of rigid, sword-shaped green leaves. This bold and architectural houseplant has a vertical growth habit, making it an excellent choice for creating a unique display without occupying too much floor space. Known for its low-maintenance nature, this plant is perfect for contemporary settings, offering a sophisticated look with minimal effort. With ample watering, it will gradually grow into an impressive and sizable specimen. For best results, place it in a sunny spot (preferably south-facing) where the room temperature ranges between 7°C (44°F) and 24°C (75°F). During the spring and summer, water generously, ensuring the pot drains well each time. In winter, reduce watering but avoid letting the soil dry out completely. Feed the plant from March to September, and as it matures, remove any naturally dying leaves to maintain its healthy appearance. Height: Up to 10m (32′). Spread: 4.5m (14′). Available in 17cm or 21cm pots. Position Yucca in a bright, sunny spot at an average room temperature – these plants will thrive in a south facing position. They can cope well in part shade but this will significantly slow their growth.
