Expertly handcrafted from high-quality hammered iron and left finished in a natural metal effect, this quirky door latch is the perfect way to add charm and practicality to any door setting. This product has been designed to age naturally and develop its own patina over time. For authenticity, this product is supplied unlacquered and has, instead, been expertly hand waxed. This wax serves as a basic protective layer against moisture however, when exposed to the outdoor elements, this item will develop a surface rust. If required, the wax layer can be removed using a light oil such as WD40 with a fine-grade wire wool and then re-finished with a metal-based paint.
