To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Poul Henningsen’s PH 5 pendant, Louis Poulsen has launched the beloved classic in a new, captivating colour palette. The commemorative edition of the PH 5 Mini pendant pairs elegant copper with pure white shades. Over time, the copper will develop a charming patina.
Louis Poulsen’s PH 5 Mini is a smaller version of the legendary PH 5 pendant, which was designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958. Due to the layered shades, the pendant gives a smooth and pleasant light with no glare. Launched in 2017, the PH 5 Mini was designed for the needs of modern living: it can be used as the main light in a small room or as a vivid detail in a larger space. The diameter of the main shade is 30 centimetres, which makes the pendant compact but still spectacular.
