‘Autumn Shades Mix’ is a wonderful Dahlia combination that boasts a variety of different shaped flowers, in colours of maroon, pink and coral, from July until October. Including five of our most popular varieties, you can count on this mix to deliver on intense flower power, vibrancy, drama and texture. Fabulous for growing in borders, cottage themed gardens and patio containers, be sure to position in semi shade where they can flourish to a maximum height of 120cm, along with a spread of 100cm. Easy to care for and impactful wherever placed, they would look stunning as a cut flower in a vase in the home. Enjoy this sumptuous mix of autumnal shades balancing vibrant coral pinks against deep maroons. Plant Dahlia tubers outdoors in April after all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny position in moist well drained soil. Prepare the soil by digging in plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Plant tubers at a depth of 15cm (6″) and water well. Alternatively, start tubers into growth in pots of compost in a frost free greenhouse. Transplant them into their final positions outdoors in June.
