‘Pink Fragrance’ is a superb new Daphne, that is ready to flower from April until November. It produces masses of sweet-smelling, baby pink blooms, that smother a spherical growing habit of fresh green foliage. Beautiful in a patio pot, scented, cottage or woodland gardening scheme, be sure to also use within borders for some texture and architectural height. Happy to progress in semi shade, watch it thrive to a height and spread of 90cm. Daphne transatlantica Plant – Pink Fragrance Pot up Daphne shrubs and grow them on in frost free conditions. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for a period of 7 to 10 days prior to planting in their final positions. Transplant Daphne plants into borders and containers outdoors in moist, fertile, well drained soil that is rich in organic matter. Choose a position in sun or semi shade. When growing in containers use a soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Daphne resents root disturbance so try to avoid this when transplanting as this may delay plant establishment.
