‘April Sun’ is a vibrant shrub that flowers from May until September. It generates masses of zesty yellow blooms, that cloak its small, cushioned mound of fresh evergreen foliage. It will develop in height to 60cm and will spread to around 100cm. This dwarf evergreen shrub forms neat, cushiony mounds of small, linear foliage and masses of long-lasting, sunshine-yellow flowers. Plant rock roses into moderately fertile, neutral or alkaline soil, in full sun. Halimium dislike wet ground, particularly during winter. Improve heavy soil conditions by adding coarse grit or sharp sand prior to planting. Once established, rock roses can easily tolerate dry sandy soils.
