‘Mojito’ is a gorgeous new Hydrangea, that is ready to bloom from July until August. It generates a profusion of large cone-shaped flowers, that are a bright lime in colour. They cloak a dense habit of glossy green foliage and create a bold focal point wherever placed. Happy to progress in dappled shade, watch it thrive to a height and spread of 150cm. Perfect for planting in patio pots, woodland and cottage gardening schemes, be sure to incorporate into cut flower landscapes also. Hydrangea ‘Mojito’ is a stunning variety with lime-green cone shaped flowers which turn a gorgeous shade of pale pink by the end of the summer. Hydrangea macrophylla prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Alternatively plant hydrangea macrophylla in patio containers in soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
