‘Jacaranda’ is a gorgeous Agapanthus, that is ready to flower from June until September. It produces masses of dome shaped blooms, that are a striking violet blue in colour. They sit neatly upon lengthy slender stems and decorate a clump forming growing habit of fresh green foliage. Perfect for adding into containers and borders, watch your hardy shrub instantly incorporate vibrancy, texture and architectural height into your outdoor space this season. Happy to develop in semi shade, it will progress in height to 90cm, along with a spread of 50cm. Blooming from as early as June, Agapanthus ‘Jacaranda’ is a useful early flowering variety. Its showy umbels of blue flowers are beautifully striped with a darker blue, adding a height to herbaceous borders, where the sturdy upright stems will make a lovely focal point. This African Blue Lily has strap-like evergreen foliage, forming tidy clumps and planted in large swathes, makes excellent ground cover. A reliable hardy perennial, it enjoys a sunny spot, coping in most soils. Height: 90cm (36″). Spread: 50cm (20″). Grow Agapanthus plants in rich fertile, well drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3 .
