‘Dutch Striped’ is a wonderful new Crocus, that is ready to bloom from February until April. It produces neat clusters of white and lilac striped flowers, that each feature a central golden stamen. Striking and fabulous for creating extra vibrancy and drama in woodland, cottage and alpine themed landscapes, as well as planting up in patio containers to decorate outdoor seating areas. Happy to progress in direct sunlight, watch it flourish to a height of 15cm, along with a spread of 5cm. Crocus ‘Dutch Striped’ boasts large, goblet-shaped flowers striped with purple veining against a pale lilac to white ground accompanied by startling orange stamens. Grow crocus in any well drained garden soil in sun or semi shade. Spring flowering crocus bulbs should be planted during the autumn, in large clumps at a depth of 10cm (4″) and at a distance of 7cm (3″) apart. Alternatively grow them in containers or naturalised in grass.
