‘Firestars Collection’ is a wonderful mix of Crocosmia, that features three of our top selling varieties. They include ‘Hot Spot’, ‘Scorchio’ and ‘Firestarter’, all blooming from July through to September. You will witness a profusion of hot yellow, orange and red flowers, that elegantly decorate a clump forming habit of fresh green, strap-like foliage. The perfect shrubs for incorporating into cottage, exotic and cut flower gardening schemes, wherever placed in your outdoor space you will not be disappointed with the flamboyant display this season. Happy to progress in semi shade, watch them thrive to a height of 75cm, along with a spread of 10cm. Specially bred for their glowing bicolour blooms and dense, clump forming habit, the Firestars Series create a real sensation in herbaceous borders. These hardy, perennials produce arching flower stems that rise above the upright, sword-shaped foliage. Grow Crocosmia in rich fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi shade. If necessary, improve soils by adding plenty of well rotted manure prior to planting.
