The Evergreen Patio Shrub Collection comprises of:
Choisya Ternata (Mexican Orange Blossom) – Glossy, evergreen foliage and fragrant white flowers from late spring, and then again in late summer and autumn. A robust shrub that is very tolerant of difficult growing conditions, including coastal gardens. Height and spread: 2.5m (8′).
Euonymus fortunei ‘Emerald Gaiety’ – RHS AGM variety, semi-evergreen silvery green leaves with white margins providing all year-round interest in the garden or in patio containers. Makes superb ground cover and can also be wall-trained. Height: 100cm (39″). Spread: 150cm (59″).
Euonymus ‘Emerald ‘n’ Gold’ – A well-known RHS AGM variety. The semi-evergreen golden yellow variegated foliage brings a bright splash of year-round colour, turning to shades of pinkish red during periods of cold weather. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 90cm (36″).
Photinia ‘Red Robin’ – RHS AGM variety well-loved for its blaze of bright scarlet new foliage in spring. Evergreen glossy new leaves and crimson stems make a strong contrast with the mature green foliage lower down the plant, giving an eye-catching two-tone effect. The spring foliage is complemented by rounded clusters of creamy-white flowers. Height and spread: up to 4m (13′).
Nandina domestica ‘Blush Pink’ – a particularly flamboyant semi-evergreen cultivar with young foliage emerging pink in spring. The new growth retains its pink hue throughout the summer, developing to fiery red shades in autumn and winter before maturing to green the following year. In July it bears dainty white flowers followed by small red berries. Height and spread: 1m (39″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
