‘Trailing Yellowstone Falls’ is a fantastic Heucherella, that is ready to flower from July until October. It produces a flurry of bell-shaped, white blooms that neatly decorate a cascading growing habit of brightly coloured foliage. Each mottled leaflet is a vibrant yellow green, sprinkled with deep maroon blotches – as the colder weather approaches, these stunning markings only deepen, adding life and colour to dull outdoor spaces. Perfect for planting in modern patio pots, cottage gardens and using as attractive ground cover, this hardy perennial is really not one to miss! Position in semi shade and watch it thrive to a height of 25cm, along with a spread of 60cm. Heucherella are a cross between Heuchera and Tiarella, creating hardy, reliable, evergreen perennials with a gently trailing habit. The striking lime green leaves of Heucherella ‘Trailing Yellowstone Falls’ are patterned with crimson markings that make a vibrant display. Pot up Heucherella plants and grow them on in frost-free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors. Grow Heucherella as groundcover plants in borders, or as trailing plants in containers, hanging baskets and window boxes. Heucherella plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to water-logging. Plant them in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade.
