‘Look at Me’ is a gorgeous new Astilbe, that is ready to bloom from May until July. It produces bundles of pastel pink frothy flowers, that completely smother its upright roaring red stems. They perch neatly above a mounding forming habit of fresh green foliage and will instantly add texture to lifeless outdoor spaces. Perfect for planting within borders, cut flower and woodland gardening schemes, this hardy perennial will also look fabulous in a water garden! Happy to progress in dappled shade, watch it flourish to a height of 45cm, along with a spread of 50cm. Plant astilbes in sun or dappled shade. Astilbe plants require rich fertile soil that remains permanently moist, even in the height of summer. A boggy soil next to a pond or stream is ideal. On drier soils, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or compost prior to planting and choose a shaded position.
