Echinops Ritro is a fabulous new Globe Thistle, that is ready to flower from August to September. It produces masses of spherical, spiky blue blooms, that perch neatly upon slender stems, amongst a clump forming habit of grey-green foliage. Perfect for planting within borders, alpine, wildlife and cut flower gardening schemes, be sure to keep positioned in partial shade, where it will progress to a height of 60cm, along with a spread of 45cm. Echinops plants thrive on poor, well drained soils, but will grow in most soils and situations. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade.
