We’re thrilled to add two new salvias to the Lips range. New ‘Cherry Lips’ and ‘Amethyst Lips’ are the very best varieties from new breeding. Very ‘on trend’ and already proving to be a big hit with garden designers, these new colour variations look fabulous in summer and autumn planting schemes. Drought-tolerant, salvia love a sunny spot and will attract bees and other pollinating insects to the garden. Growing to 50-100cm, the sturdy stems, with their wonderfully coloured and shaped flowers, will provide a focal point in beds, borders and containers. Follow the fashion this season with this lovely salvia collection! Following the popularity of Salvia ‘Hot Lips’, comes the introduction of 2 new colours to the trendy ‘Lips’ series. A profusion of bicolour blooms make a showy display from summer through to autumn. Pot up salvia plants into pots of free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant salvias outdoors in moist, well drained soil, and situated in a sheltered spot in full sun.
