PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Recognisable for being the emblem of the RSPB, the avocet is a wader known predominately for its black and white patterned body and its curved upwards beak. Seen on marshes and estuaries nowadays, this once extinct bird was able to regenerate its population during World War II when it could recolonise the beaches of East Anglia which were flooded as a defence strategy against invasion. Handcrafted by our craftsman, this hanging basket bracket is made from robust steel and painted in a black powder coating. With pre-drilled holes and a matching backplate, it makes for easy installation to any exterior wall.
