PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Used as the unofficial flag of New Zealand, the silver fern has become a clear emblem for sports teams, including the famous rugby team, the All Blacks, who have use this symbol since the 1880s. According to legend, the silver fern was asked to move from the sea to land by the Maori warriors to help guide their way home. Nowadays, the symbol is used in New Zealand Tourism campaigns, trade promotions and quality checks. Made into a weathervane using high quality cast iron and steel and then further powder coated into a midnight black, this weathervane would be ideal for a New Zealand native or a keen traveller to the country.
