Description
GUBI’s Turbo pendant is a weightless ceiling lamp that reminds of Japanese rice paper shades. Louis Weisdorf wanted to create a luminaire with the same lightness and airiness in a more durable and sturdy form. The beautiful Turbo ceiling light is simple in shape, but the structure is complex: twelve thin aluminium plates form a sculptural flower-like shade, which filters the light beautifully through it. The spiralling design hides the light source, so the Turbo pendant does not glare the viewer – which is a good thing, because this luminaire is sure to catch your eye!
