Description
Tom Dixon’s Void Surface is a rounded, futuristic wall lamp with a glossy metallic shade. With enough work and patience, even base metals can be treated to the same lustre as precious metals, and in the production of the Void wall lamp this has been taken to the extreme: the luminaire’s body is cut from a metal sheet, pressed, spun, and brazed to its double-walled shape, then polished and varnished for maximum gloss. The wall lamp is equipped with a built-in LED light that provides soft and warm illumination. Void charms its viewers with the lights on, but also in the dark, as a sculptural decoration on a bedroom or living room wall.
