This superb new Tillandsia is much loved for its curly thick, silver rosettes of leaflets! Enjoying dappled shade to progress, it would sit well in a conservatory, greenhouse or modern home interior and is much adored for its air purifying qualities. Blooming from May until October, you will witness bundles of deep red and yellow flowers, that elegantly add some vibrancy to its octopus-like foliage. Watch it grow to a height and spread of 90cm, along with 40cm high blooms! Known as the King of Air Plants, Tillandsia xerographica is capable of reaching up to 3 foot in length at maturity, dwarfing other Tillandsia species. Tillandsia are epiphytic plants which do not require compost to grow. Position Air Plants in bright, filtered light with good air circulation, at a minimum temperature of 5C (41F).
