‘Kew Blue’ is a compact, attractive shrub that is easy to grow in any outdoor space. From August until October, it produces bundles of indigo blue blooms that sit amongst lengthy branches of silver-green foliage. Ideal for planting in a sunny spot, this Caryopteris would work well incorporated into a wildlife or cottage gardening scheme, as well as creating a vibrant focal point in a border. It will grow in height to 1m and spread to around 1.5m. Grow Caryopteris plants in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. In very cold areas, where summers are cool and winter temperatures fall below -15C, plant near a warm, sunny wall.
