‘Dinnerplate Collection’ is a fantastic mix of six of our most popular Dahlia varieties, all blooming from July until November. All boasting huge flower heads, in a wonderful combo of pink, yellow, red, white and peach. Superb for making a dramatic focal point, be sure to grow in a cut flower, cottage or tropical themed garden, where they can really take centre stage! These Dahlia’s will enjoy direct sunlight to progress and will flourish to a height and spread of around 100cm. Easy to care for and full of texture, this collection is not one to miss! These large flowered varieties are informally grouped together as Dinnerplate Dahlias – and for good reason. Each spectacular bloom grows up to 30cm (12″) across! Plant Dahlia tubers outdoors in April after all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny position in moist well drained soil. Prepare the soil by digging in plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Plant tubers at a depth of 15cm (6″) and water well. Alternatively, start tubers into growth in pots of compost in a frost free greenhouse. Transplant them into their final positions outdoors in June.
