Oxalis Censation Double Pink Wonder

This attractive Oxalis, also known as Shamrock, boasts double, blush white flowers that contrast with their red picotee edges. This variety is a low growing bulb, producing a spreading clump of triangular, clover-like foliage. Although perennial, this magnificent plant is only half-hardy.

In particularly mild and sheltered areas, they can be grown outdoors in rock gardens or alpine troughs, but should be protected from frost at all times. In most parts of the UK, they are best grown in containers and moved to a frost-free position in early autumn. Height and spread: 15cm (6”).

Outdoors, grow oxalis plants in containers or in sheltered rockeries and borders. In frost prone areas it is best grown as a houseplant on a bright windowsill or in a conservatory or greenhouse. Plant oxalis corms at a depth of 3cm (1″) in well drained, rich fertile soil, or for indoor cultivation, in a loam based compost such as John Innes No.2. Position in full sun or light shade.
