‘Big Ears’ is a gorgeous Stachys, that is much loved for its furry, silver-green, large leaflets. Blooming from June until October, its clump forming habit, soon becomes smothered in elegant, baby pink flowers. An attractive addition to borders, cottage and alpine themed landscapes, be sure to also use as striking, pretty ground cover. Happy to progress in full sun, watch it thrive to a height of 60cm, along with a spread of around 75cm. With even bigger, furry ‘Bunny’s Ears’, it is hard not to resist stroking this tactile plant. Stachys byzantina ‘Big Ears’ sports larger leaves than other varieties and taller flower spikes. Grow Stachys in any well drained soil that won’t sit wet over winter. Choose a position in full sun.
