One of the most impressive conifers in the botanical world, Cedrus libani ‘Glauca’ is often seen as a solitary specimen in large parks. Loose, upward-slanting, horizontally tiered branches create a striking form which is unmistakable. ‘Glauca’ bears all the characteristics of the plain species but with the addition of blue-grey needles making this noble tree even more magnificent. In the winter, large, barrel-shaped cones are a distinctive feature. Maximum height: over 12m (39ft). Maximum spread: over 8m (26ft).
