Description
Wästberg’s Sempé rail pendant light was named after its designer, the French Inga Sempé. Made of metal, the minimalist luminaire borrows its form from push pins and, perhaps a little less obviously, from traditional machine tool lighting used in the metal industry.
The Sempé pendant lamp looks simultaneously weighty and light both in terms of materials and aesthetics: the luminaire consists of two curved shades in aluminium decorated with cleats at the top – a detail that is repeated in other luminaire designs in the Sempé series. The shades hide efficient COB LED light sources that infuse the space with pleasant, warm white light that, thanks to the advanced COB technology, is always flicker-free and unaffected by the colour of the shades. The pendant is dimmable.
In 2023, Wästberg updated the w103 range with new lighting solutions as well as a new colour palette. This model is an older, discontinued version.
