‘Jetstream’ is a superb new Hydrangea, that is ready to flower from May until August. It produces large conical blooms, that are a pearly white in colour, contrasting wonderfully against its bushy growing habit of fresh green foliage. An asset to the garden also in the colder months, enjoy its rusty red leaflets that add year-round interest. Perfect for growing in cottage, wildlife and woodland gardening schemes, you can also incorporate it into large patio pots and spacious borders for some drama. Happy to progress in dappled shade, watch it thrive to a height of 150cm, along with a spread of 120cm. This easy-going shrub will provide multiple seasons of interest in a shady border or a permanent container in a dull spot which is calling out for some colour. Hydrangea quercifolia prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Alternatively plant hydrangea quercifolia in patio containers in soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
