‘Astary White’ is a gorgeous new Astilbe, that is ready to bloom from June until September. It generates bundles of fragrant feathery plumes, in a shade of vibrant white, amongst a petite growing habit of deep green foliage. Happy to develop in dappled shade, be sure to incorporate into cottage, water, cut flower and woodland gardening schemes. It will thrive to a maximum height and spread of 40cm. . Plant astilbes in sun or dappled shade. Astilbe plants require rich fertile soil that remains permanently moist, even in the height of summer. A boggy soil next to a pond or stream is ideal. On drier soils, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or compost prior to planting and choose a shaded position.
