Heucheras provide invaluable groundcover in difficult spots beneath trees, shrubs and roses where the ground is dry and rooty. They easily shake off these conditions, smothering the ground and supressing emergent weed seedlings.

The Bressingham Hybrids are a group of Heucheras which have been selected for their flowers rather than the showy acid green and purple foliage of other varieties whose flowers tend to be lack lustre. However, these hybrids still bear attractive palmately lobed leaves in plain green which provides excellent groundcover, but it is their bright red or pink tubular flowers held on fine upright stems which is their chief attraction in spring and early summer. They will flower even in partial shade and so make excellent woodland plants or in spring borders where they will spill over border edges.  Height: 40cm (16”). Spread: 45cm (18”).

eason, meaning arrival images are an indication only. Selected for their bright pink and red flowers Heuchera plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to waterlogging. Plant them in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun or semi shade.
