Le Klint’s pendant model 101, also known as ”The Lantern”, is a true classic of Scandinavian design. Created in 1944 by Kaare Klint, The Lantern is unique and fascinating in its almost perfect combination of design, quality, materials and craftmanship – all the classic Le Klint virtues. The simple round shape and pleated shade make The Lantern a timeless luminaire that will beautifully complement any space and occasion.
The Lantern is available both with a classic paper shade and as a modern version complete with a plastic shade. Light is filtered through both materials softly and pleasantly, but it should be noted that the paper shade creates a slightly more gentle lighting while the plastic shade is ideal for spaces that require lighting that is a bit brighter.
