Juniperus chinensis ‘Expansa Variegata’ boasts fragrant variegated foliage of blue-green with sprays of cream, creating a spectacular display throughout the year. Much like the ocean, this Chinese Juniper is a vast and constant expanse: its needle-like foliage is evergreen and its dense, low-growing habit allows extensive ground cover in borders and rockeries. In contrast to the strong, salty smell of the seaside, Juniperus chinensis ‘Expansa Variegata’ is pleasantly aromatic, so makes an interesting addition to scented flower gardens as well as an excellent free standing specimen.
