This selection features five different species of native plants that, when grown together, will create the look of a mature hedgerow, as though it has been established for years. We’ve carefully chosen a mix of varieties native to our shores, including classic hedgerow plants like Blackthorn and Hawthorn, along with slightly less common but equally effective species such as Oak and Silver Birch. Add Wild Cherry to the mix, and you’ll have the perfect blend of security, vibrant colour, beautiful flowers, and dense foliage typically found along countryside field borders. This hedging collection contains five specially selected native hardy shrubs, which can be grown together to produce a stunning hedgerow. The traditional Blackthorn and Hawthorn plants will make your hedge look well established from the outset, while Oak and Silver Birch offer interesting foliage and a spectacular autumn display. Wild Cherry is the collection’s crowning glory, adding lovely, white blossom to an already colourful hedgerow in the spring. When grown on the border of two country fields or at the edge of a cottage garden, the Native Hedging Collection makes for a dense and secure boundary as well as an attractive addition to the landscape.
