An improved Santero-type onion. Like its namesake, it’s an early maincrop variety with good resistance to bolting and to Downy Mildew. The copper-brown, round-oval bulbs store very well too.
The introduction of onion Santero is a real plus. On our trials, we have had real problems with Downy Midlew, but Santero has excellent resistance.
