Pieris ‘Forest Flame’ has received the prestigious RHS AGM award for its striking appearance and ease of care. The young foliage starts as vibrant red, transitioning through shades of pink, cream, and eventually green as it matures. In late spring, it produces clusters of small, creamy bell-shaped flowers that beautifully complement the colourful leaves. This hardy evergreen shrub is low-maintenance and grows to a height of 4 meters (13 feet) with a spread of 2 meters (6.5 feet), making it an excellent addition to any garden. Grow Pieris plants in a sunny or partially shaded position, in a moderately fertile, rich, well drained and acidic soil. Alternatively grow Pieris in large containers, using ericaceous (acidic) compost.
