Pot up Veronica plants and grow them on in warm, frost-free conditions until plants are well grown. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting out in their final positions. Choose a sunny or semi-shaded position in moist, fertile, well drained soil. Veronica prefers a fertile, humus rich soil so work some well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
