This Slender Sweet Flag will add drama, texture and architectural height wherever placed. It is ideal for growing in boggy soils, around ponds and those tricky spots that continually stay moist. ‘Ogon’ produces compact clumps of arching, slender yellow and green leaflets, along with tiny lemon-coloured flowers in the summer which are then followed by small, glossy, red berries. This Acorus is easy to care for, its foliage releases a heavenly scent when bruised and will grow in height and spread to 30cm. Plant Acorus in reliably moist borders or boggy soil at the edge of ponds. Slender Sweet Flag can be planted to a maximum depth of 5cm (2″) below water level. Choose a position in full sun.
